It’s A Sign

It Started in The Bathroom

When I left my career in the tech world (good bye silly commutes and long hours), I wanted to build my own business around woodworking. I taught myself how to build a dresser once, and my passion for working with wood was ignited. The first product? A flush hang tag sign, as I thought it would be a fun piece to help remind my son to do just that. It was a blast finding my own unique style and my shop featuring farmhouse modern wooden signs and rustic home décor was launched.

Sawdust Sticks to Lip Gloss

My home is my refuge. Even if it sometimes looks more like a storage place for lumber and boxes. But it’s my life, and it’s just perfect. The fact that I get to create signs and pieces of décor that will live in someone’s home is just such a treat — I’m honored, really. My workshop is my haven and people would be surprised that the polished lady in those professional photos is cutting wood on her lanai and trying to keep sawdust from sticking to her lips. How do those gorgeous girls on HGTV make it look so easy? I digress. Woodworking and building furniture is a way of life for me. It’s important that the pieces I create feel authentically you. That’s why I focus on providing superior craftsmanship and details that feel one-of-a-kind. My hope is that what you get from me creates a warm conversation for years to come.

Thank you so much for supporting handmade! It means the world to me.
